John T. Harrison, a retired Engineering Graduate, has in the least few years become interested in the presentation of numbers to children, in an interesting and sometimes entertaining way.

His invention of the Numdrum has aroused great interest amongst teachers, and children alike.

He is available for demonstrations to groups of teachers, classes, staff meetings or individual maths teachers at mutually convenient times and places, summer schools, etc.

He is also available for talks to maths clubs, Rotary Clubs and other bodies on subjects such as “The Longitude Problem, how it was solved by John Harrison (no relation !) ", “How to make patterns and shapes from numbers", “Amaze your friends (or Mum and Dad) by your mental arithmetic skills", “Surprising properties of numbers that you probably never learned at school".
